I've been really into these types of pearly colors lately. I've also been piling on the leg warmings and socks under my boots these cold winter days so this is a pretty accurate display of my current attire.

It was lovely weather then. Now i'm preparing to do a photoshoot of my friend that is winter fairy themed. I am excited for the makeup. She is tall and slim with dewy skin so I think the snow will reflect very nicely on her. So excited.

Love this outfit. I currently love heeled/wedged lace up boots. I have to get my hands on some before it seems like i'm just copying everyone else. I'm definitely copying SOME people but I don't want to get them when the whole world has them because they're offered at target and fred meyers. No offense to target, you're my go-to-gal for basics! Anywayyy, I adore this outfit. The flowwy dress, the knee high knit socks, the lovely boots, the cute little scarf. I was having problems finding a top for the socks and shoes but I'd also wear an oversized shirt dress and a leather jacket but I was too lazy to make that on the polyvore image :)

Wish List + Update

Just got back from a weekend trip to San Francisco with the sister! It was fabulous and pictures will be up soon

I really need boots for winter. Last year everyone was wearing suede boots so I bought leather and now this year everyone's wearing knee high leather riding boots. So now I'm looking for something else and I've fallen in love with these two puppies. I'll probably buy a pair of leather ones just because they're simple but these are pretty bad ass!!!

Victoria's Secret Smokey Eye

When you think Victoria's Secret models you think perfectly tanned, flawless skin, smokey eye, sexy.

While i can't be ALL those things I finally mastered the smokey eye on an asian eye!!

I opted out of a harsh black and followed the lines of the VS makeup artists by using natural browns.

I started with a white base all over the lid up to the brow bone, a beige swept all over the lid leaving a slight strip of white under the brow, and a dark MATTE brown shadow lined on the eyelash line, in the crease of the lid, and under my eye. A dark black liquid marker pen on my top lash line and finally mascara! I'd normally load it on but I was lazy and only did 1 coat. :)

The other part of the look that is just as key as the smokey eye is the tanned-goddess complexion. My skin has been rather spotty lately so I can't do much about that (but pray!) so I just did what I'd do on a normal day. Liquid foundation, mineral veil, and bronzer. Usually I don't wear bronzer but I'm happy I took the risk this time. I pursed my face like a fish and swept bronzer in the concave cheekbone sweeping from under their up towards your temples. It really brings the look together :)

We stayed at a hostel in Williamsburg! Fantastic little place. Had a great time and went to meet up with my Hotelies in Manhattan. A friend lives right by Central Park in a gorgeous townhouse, a la Gossip Girl. Miss you all!

Back home!! Lovin the weather here :) I have pictures from NYC when I was there the few days I had after Cornell ended. I went with my sister and met up with some friends at one of my friends' houses next to Central Park! Can you say 8 story town house with built in elevator a la Gossip Girl? I can!

Was quite popular in the first 3 week session. I think at least 3 girls had this romper dress on my dorm floor ALONE (not even counting the other 5 floors and the other dorm down the street!)

Remember how I posted an image with white shorts saying they're a staple? Finally picked up a pair....in 2 sizes smaller!!!! WADDUPHOES! :) 2+ miles from dorms to class every day is finally paying off!!!! YESSS

Hotels and Business

Just finished the 3 week Hotel Program! It was intense but amazing.

My baby (14+ page C.H.E.S.S report) is sitting on my desk in its laminated and binded glory

Just started the business program. All my best friends have left to go back home and newbies have recently come in. My dorm building is not even full...the empty rooms are incredibly depressing.

I really miss T and P as well as my other besties :)

I'll be seeing T in a few weeks in NYC so i'm excited for that
