Too Fast!

Met this guy through a friend and he is super sweet but he is coming onto me so hard! Not in a perverted way though of course...he's Mormon. but still!! I really don't want another one of these fakesy things via text! :( gah

Why does this always happen to me!? I am doomed to failed relationships...........

Anyway it's absolutely roasting here in Ithaca!

This is what I'm wearing to my first lecture tomorrow!

Airplane Rides

Airplane rides are often connotative with sweats, uggs, and essentially laziness at its epitome.

I'm not encouraging Louboutin heels that will restrict your swollen feet (feet fell during plane rides!) or tight high waisted skirts that make you feel as if you've retreated back to the corset days. Only Victoria Beckham can survive this type of attire during plane rides.

I for one am all for comfort but I don't think that should translate to sloppiness. Nothing makes me feel more like a slug than seeing on in human form. C'mon ladies AND gents, you can step it up without forcing yourself to be uncomfortable. there are some simple steps to comfort on the plane:

1) Sunglasses: your eyes get puffy on planes and after long layovers. Quick fix. Carry some eyedrops if you want to wear your contacts (though I'd suggest glasses if your flight is long. The air pressure on your contacts against your eyes is dangerous)

2)Scarf: it gets chilly on the plane and who knows where those plane blankets have been...budget cuts leads to gross airline hygiene practices.

3) Cardigan: not shown on the polyvore image but I'd recommend it

4) Comfortable black skinny jeans/leggings: I'd prefer leggings but for this look this shirt would be too short to cover your butt and leggings as pants is never ok. Especially when camel toes are in view.

5) Black flats: easy to take off for security reasons!

6) big duffel/travel bag: fits an extra set of clothes in case they lose your check-in and has little pockets to organize your phone, passport, ipod, flight schedule, book, keys, pens, etc :)

Happy travelling!

Today was what Summer was all about...

Sneaking into the pool in the hotel across the street = how you know summer has begun

It was terrifically fun and we even pulled out the pool lounge chairs to the balcony to soak up some SUN! Officially a proud owner of a slightly visible tan :) I'll take whatever since my thighs were unhumanly pale

Outfit? Light, summer-y, and perfect for a spontaneous dip in a foreign pool ;)

Camwhore

Thanks to the summer-y weather I put on some falsies and my fedora hat, grabbed my camera and did what any other asian girl would do...CAMWHORE! it was splendid. It's a therapy all its own :) You know its finally vacation time when you have time to camewhore to your heart's delight. I definitely have more pictures than I put on this blog post but I think it would be way too overwhelming, haha.

Anyway, at the bottom of this is all the makeup I used :D toodlepip my loves.

STARVING

I barely ate today...maybe some watermelon and a small plate of pasta and thought it was kinda strange but didn't really pay attention to it. Right now I'm reading some girly manga and BAM hunger attacked me! I don't know how it happened but I seriously need to eat the following things or I may die....

Burt's Bees

I just ran out of probably my billionth bottle of Cetaphil. I've been hooked on it because it was what dermatologist have been suggesting due to its very basic formula and because it was working fine for my skin though I was never ever acne free due to monthly rude awakening.

I was at Target today because I had to pick up some essentials I'll need for my 6 weeks summer program that's coming up. All the Cetaphil bottles that have pop up caps were out so I searched for something else that would last me the time. I opted away from all the Neutrogena stuff because it tends to be too strong and thus dries out my skin.

I went through another aisle and came across the Burt's Bees section. My best friend recently started using these two items and loves them:

While I would've gotten the acne solutions facial cleanser I just didn't really want to work with its watery feel as I'll be in a crowded dormitory and constantly rushed to wash as fast as possible. I just don't want to be bothered with water and face wash dripping down to my elbows rather than my face. that may not even be the case with this product but I decided to opt out anyway.

I really like the royal jelly qualities of the radiance line so I decided to get the Radiance Facial Cleanser

Today was my first time trying it and so far I love it! I'll wait some more before I do a continued review but from right now I'll give it my immediate review. First of all the packaging is fantastic. The pump can be turned in two directions to lock it so during travel it will not explode (WOO!) and the overall design is very simple and cute. The smell was quite pleasant, I thought, though it is debatable for others. Lastly, and most importantly, it took off all my makeup with out making my skin feel crackly and dry OR unwashed and still masked.

So far, lovin i.

Burt's Bees manages to never fail and at $10 I couldn't complain if it did!

Beard Lust MV

The long hours of hardwork and impatience have finally paid off!!!!! My friend Kristi was the one who made this music video which is part of our large parody video project that is supposed to make fun of our AP Language and Composition. It's our end of year final....yup :D Although before the fruits of our labor became more clear this project was the biggest pain in the butt ever.

Enjoy this genius snippet from the overall video!
